ABOUT US
We are a family project that has delved into the breeding of the Purebred Spanish horse. Hacienda la Cobriza was born in the beautiful state of Sonora where the mountains are rich in minerals, especially copper hence the name, which translates into copper mountains.
Our project started as a small hobby, but over time it became an ambitious one, trying to produce Andalusians with good mind and suitable for sport. Over the years we have carefully importing horses with renowned bloodlines such as Marín García, Ferrero, Plaza de Armas and Guardiola. The genetic trees of our horses include some of the most emblematic stallions of the modern Spanish horse, such as Armas Vaquero, Mañoso II, Orfebre, Yaco II, Remache XIII, Remendado VII, SF Oleaje, Educado X, Corinto X, among others.
Our main objective is to produce quality and not quantity. All of our horseshave to go through a series of tests before being part of our breeding program. For this reason, we believe that it is extremely important to have stallions and mares that have good movements, conformation and a docile temperament. Our horses have demonstrated their skills by obtaining medals in the most prestigious competitions in the country. We have medals and placings in rated horse shows in Mexico and the United States at a national and regional level.
